10.23.2020 - Don Kilby's 1951 Ford Victoria - The Slick Vic. Radical custom originally sectioned and restyled by Don Kilby of Kensington, Maryland in the early 1960s. The car was later reworked and chopped by Dick Dean at Barris Kustoms. Located in Fountain, Colorado, the car was advertised for sale on Facebook in October of 2020. The asking price was US $30,000. 09.02.2020 - 1959 Chevrolet Biscayne Mild Custom. An amazing time capsule in great condition. A high school cruiser with all the very cool era correct parts still intact and useable. 08.21.2020 - 1939 Ford Convertible Custom. Advertised for sale on the Facebook Marketplace, the car was listed as an old custom built during WW2. No engine. Project. No rust. 07.31.2020 John North's 1957 Ford - The White Pearl. Iconic Rockville, Connecticut custom originally owned by Choppers of Rockville President John North. North purchased it brand new and had it immediately sent off for a restyling. Later on, the car was owned by famous American singer-songwriter Gene Pitney, who often drove the car himself to his concerts. Located in Highwood, Illinois, the car was advertised for sale on eBay in July of 2020. It was listed with a US $56,500 Buy It Now price. Click here to check out the eBay ad.
06.12.2020 - 1936 Ford Coupster Custom. Old build. Roof removed, rear fenders molded in, and 1937 Ford headlights grafted on in the 1950s. Body is rough but the car is cool. Chopped windshield. Shaved firewall. Tapered running boards. Flush style skirts. 350/350. Drop axle front end with newer disc brake kit. 8” rear end with parallel leaf kit lowering blocks. Car recently put together in the garage, driven down the street and back and that’s it. Will need bugs worked out. Has Idaho title that came with the chassis. 05.28.2020 - 1952 Sport Custom. Built on a 1940 Ford. All steel. Powered by a Ford 289 engine with a 3-speed. Runs and drives great. Originally built in 1952. 05.25.2020 - Bill Carr's 1955 Chevrolet - The Aztec. Your chance to own an important piece of custom history. A custom since brand new, current caretaker Barry Mazza refers to the old custom as "The Greatest Barris Kustom of All." The car has an impressive resume that includes 17 magazine covers and 45 inside articles. Barry is asking US $250,000 for the historic Aztec. Click here to check out the ad.
04.09.2020 - Tom Renzulli's 1940 Mercury Convertible. Tom's Mercury was supposedly built from the remains of Johnny Zaro's 1940 Mercury Coupe, an early Barris Kustom originally completed in 1948. In April of 2020, the Renzulli Mercury was advertised for sale at EstateSales.org. Located in Escondido, California it was listed as an online auction with a US $1,000 starting bid. 03.27.2020 - Frank De Rosa's 1951 Mercury Sedan. Known as the "Mercury 4," the car was advertised for sale on eBay in March of 2020. Located in Palm Springs, California, the old custom was listed without a reserve. The auction ended March 27. By then it had received 49 bids, and it sold for US $29,000.Click here to check out the auction listing.
03.25.20200 - 1938 Ford Convertible Custom. Old build supposedly restyled in California in 1948. Chopped 3" with an original Carson Top. Paint and interior upgrade in the mid 1980s. Located in Tucson, Arizona, the car was advertised for sale on Hemmings in March of 2020. The asking price was US $68,000.Click here to check out the listing on Hemmings.com.
03.20.2020 - 1936 Ford 3-Window Deluxe Coupe. Located in Upland, California, this survivor was advertised for sale on eBay in March of 2020. Originally hot-rodded in the early 1950s, it was parked for an engine swap in 1961. It sat apart until 2017. 49 000 original miles. The auction ended March 24, 2020.
