Kustomrama Marketplace Featured Ad 1104 - 1946 Buick Super Convertible Custom
Proudly owned and preserved by its third caretaker for 25 years.
Originally purchased in the San Francisco Bay area by a visionary body shop owner named Ken, who began its custom journey. It's rumored (though unverified) to have clinched the title for Best Mild Custom at the 1955 Oakland Roadster Show. Ron Reinkah of Hayward, California bought the car from Ken in 1980. Ten years later, in 1990, he sold it to Dale.
1950 Pontiac grill, 1949 Cadillac quarters, Skylark wires, 1953 Mercury headlight rings, 1950 Oldsmobile sidetrim, chrome-plated dash moldings. Powered by a 1953 Buick Nailhead V/8, converted to a 3-speed on the floor, Ansen block off column plate. Further enhancements: nosed & decked, 1953 Chevrolet truck hydraulic clutch cylinder, hydraulic top, and windows. The black ½” rolled and pleated seats from the early 1950s remain as soft & supple as new.
Always garage-kept, treasured, and lightly used (only about 1000 miles on it!). "In my ownership, it's been well-maintained mechanically, stored in a heated indoor garage, with a newly replaced convertible top and tires."
$39,500.00 US Dollars. Payment exclusively via International Wire Transfer.
No Trades. As Dale says, "I doubt you'll find a finer original early custom anywhere else. The pictures speak for themselves!"
