Bill Muehlstedt's 1949 Chevrolet of Long Beach, California. Bill was a member of the Long Beach Cavaliers car club from 1956 to 1964, and he owned the Chevrolet in the Summer of 1956.
Carl Abajian's 1949 Chevrolet Convertible was originally restyled by Barris Kustoms for Marcia Campbell in 1949. In 1950 Carl had Barris re-paint it dark-blue.
Dick Katz' 1949 Chevrolet Sport Coupe of Dalles, Oregon was built by Dee Wescott.
Frank Livingston's 1949 Chevrolet Fleetline, the Caribbean II, of San Leandro, California. Frank's fourth 1949 Chevrolet was built as a recreation of his first 1949 Chevrolet, the Caribbean. The recreation was restyled by Oz Welch, and the build was completed in 2002.
Gene Schilling's 1949 Chevrolet Convertible of Kenosha, Wisconsin. Customized in 1952, the car was built by Gene and his two buddies Kurt Lineau and Art Hubbard.
Ken O'Neil's 1949 Chevrolet Fleetline of New York City, New York. Restyled around 1961, Ken lived in the Richmond Hill neigbourhood in Queens. Photo from The Ken Bausert Photo Collection.
George Jezek's 1949 Chevrolet 2-Door Sedan of West, Texas. Jezek was a local pinstriper and a founding member of the Eliminators of West car club. Known as The Candy Cart, Jezek's Chevrolet went through several modifications during the late 1950s and the 1960s. This photo shows how it appeared in 1962 after Jezek had installed a heavily chromed 283 Chevy engine and removed exterior chrome accessories such as dual spotlights and lakes pipes.
Marcia Campbell's 1949 Chevrolet Convertible was restyled by Barris Kustoms in 1949.
Ronald Asal's 1949 Chevrolet convertible of New Britain, Connecticut was restyled around 1956-1958.
Spencer Murray's 1949 Chevrolet of Glendale, California. Spencer worked for Link Paola at Link's Custom Shop when they restyled the car, and he had a heck of a time getting him to work on it. They chopped the top of the car 3 inches in September 1950. We don't know when the build was completed, but Spencer showed it at the 1952 National Roadster Show in Oakland.
Qvintus Brusefält Ån's 1949 Chevrolet of Borensberg, Sweden. In 2018 Qvintus and Gene Winfield chopped the top on the car at the Yankee Car Show in Finland.
