1949 Chevrolet Coupe restyled by Shanklin's Custom Shop of Hayward, California for Eddy Dameral. The top grille bar was removed and the hood's leading edge was extended down to the grille opening. All body seams were filled and the car was shaved for handles, emblems and trim. The three grille bars emanated from a 1956 Chrysler. The odd looking headlight shades were made completely by hand. The front bumper was simplified by removing the bumper guards and bolts. The unusual scoops on the rear fenders were constructed by round rods. The rear fenders were extended 14 inches and housed a pair of 1955 Chrysler taillights. Round rods were used to form the edge openings. 1955 Pontiac split bumpers was added to the extended and molded gravel pan. The body was lowered 5 inches and dual spotlights were added. The body was painted Lime-Green once completed.[1] Eddy atended the Grand National Roadster Show both in 1957 and 1958.

By August, 1958, Joe Bailon of Bailon's Custom Shop had painted the car red with yellow scallops.[2]
