The Coupe Devils of Norway is a Norwegian car club for traditional hot rods and custom cars. The club was established in 2001 by Sondre Kvipt, Kjetil Kvipt, and Ole Kristian Espeland. After seeing the traditional hot rod and kustom scene making a comeback in Southern California, and after attending several hot rod, custom and rockabilly shows in Sweden in the late 1990s, Sondre, Ole Kristian and Kjetil decided it was about time to start their own club as well. At the time Sondre had a 1955 Cadillac Coupe DeVille called the "Coupe DeVil", Ole had a 1956 Chevrolet handyman project, and Kjetil had a flamed 1957 Ford. Sondre sketched up a logo for the new club that was drawn with a white tire pen on the back of their leather jackets. Shortly after founding the club, Sondre made a website for the Coupe Devils. Back then every decent hot rod and custom club had their own website. The following text was used to describe the club on the new webpage: "The Coupe Devils was formed back in the unholy year of 2001 by three Norwegian timebandits. To become a member of our rockabilly, rod and kustom gang, you have to own a pre 61 traditional american rod or kustom. There is no way to stop us, We'r on rock'n roll!!!"[1]

In 2009 the Coupe Devils held their first annual Coupe Devils Rod & Kustom Bonanza at Bruvollen in Blaker, Norway. The show was held May 23rd.
