1955 Cadillac

The 1955 Cadillac featured a longer and lower body. The parking lights were moved into the panel below the headlights once again. The 1955 Cadillac had bigger bumper bullets than the 1954 Cadillac. The body side trim was moved a little further back. The 1955 Cadillac was still powered by the "super powered" 331 cid V8 engine. The engine produced 250 hp at 4600 rpm. But if you purchased the "Power package" for 161$, the engine would produce up to 270 hp at 4800 rpm. The gas filler cap on the 1955 Cadillac was located in the left rear braking light.

Cadillac produced units in 1955:

3.950 Eldorado's.

2,000 Fleetwood's 75 eight passnger sedans and limo's.

1,975 Fleetwood's 75 commercial chassis.

and 140,778 62' and 60's.
