Eddie Dominguez' 1939 Mercury convertible of El Paso, Texas. Eddie bought the already customized Mercury from a local kid in 1960. According to rumors the car came from the San Diego area. Another rumor claims that it was sold new in Long Beach, and restyled shortly thereafter. Kevan bought the car around 2009.

Kevan Sledge's 1940 Mercury Coupe. Restyled by Kevan, the build was started in 2002 and completed in 2014.

Reno Casasola's 1940 Mercury was the first customer car Kevan began restyling at Sledge Customs.

Tim Kirkegaard's 1939 Mercury coupe of Denmark was Kevan's second customer car at Sledge Customs. The build made it's first public debut at the 2013 Grand National Roadster Show.

Thomas Pendelton's 1940 Mercury Coupe. Thomas' Merc was restyled by Kevan Sledge at Sledge Customs. The build was completed in 2017.

Kevan Sledge of Orange, California is a founding member of the So. Cal. Shifters car club. Kevan learned the custom craftmanship from Australian metalworker Pete Nash. The first car Kevan chopped was a 1960 Oldsmobile. He also helped chop a few customer cars while working at Willys Werks, a small custom shop in Paramount, California. Kevan's own 1940 Mercury was the first pre-war, turret-top body Kevan chopped.

In 2012 Sledge Customs was born in Auburn, California.
