05.22.2020 - Gary Niemie's 1951 Mercury Convertible. Restyled by Bill Hines, the build incorporates a mix of traditional styling lines with modern luxuries and features. Niemie was a member of the Long Beach Renegades back in the 1950s, and he was known for making teardrop dash knobs for many famous customs, such as Larry Watson's 1950 Chevrolet "Grapevine." Completed around 2004, it features pinstriping work by Larry Watson. Located in Brevard, North Carolina, the car was advertised for sale on Hemmings in May of 2020. The asking price was US $175,000.
