12.04.2022 - East Coast Survivor Hot Rod. 1932 Ford 5-Window Coupe. Originally hot rodded in New Jersey 1959-1961. Street raced until 1969, then taken apart and stored in a barn until 2005. Mostly old original patina with cracked lacquer paint. Channelled about 6". Motor recessed. A badass hot rod that is a blast to drive. 12.04.2022 - Nelson LaFrancis' 1932 Ford 5-Window Coupe. Originally hot rodded in Agawam, Massachusetts in 1955 and 1956. The car was put away in 1973. It changed hands in 1983 and was restored in 1993 - 1999. The body was channeled 7 inches over the frame. The frame was Z'ed front and rear, and the grille was shortened 2 inches. It runs an extended aluminum hood and a ZZ4 small-block 345 hp Chevy engine with a T-350 automatic transmission and floor shifter. The suspension is a homemade true 4-wheel independent suspension that Nelson fabricated back in the 1950s. 03.20.2022 - Donald Hendrix's 1940 LaSalle Series 50 Convertible Coupe Custom. Customized when new by its first owner in Pasadena, California. Body sectioned 6 inches and channeled. Running boards removed. 1951 Cadillac 331 CID V-8 engine with a three-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Restored in 2004. 26.11.2021 - 1932 Ford Roadster. All steel, real Henry Ford Roadster. Supposedly built and raced in the 1940s, but there is no provenance to the car. 03.29.2021 - Gene Howard's 1950 Buick Custom - Tuly Rare. Historic custom originally restyled by Gene Howard at Gene Howard's Body Shop in Bloomington, Illionois. Known as "Truly Rare," the car was restyled during the late 1950 - early 1960s. In March of 2021 the car was advertised for sale on eBay. 11.18.2020 - The Juxtapod. 1928 Ford Model AA Truck built by Mattias Andersson of LeBeef Kustom Metal Works for Johan Belin and Ludvig Löfgren of Sweden. Built in a 1960s show rod style, the truck is a rolling art project incorporating Swedish state of the art crystal design by Ludvig Löfgren. 10.08.2020 - Ron Price's 1933 Ford 3-Window Coupe. Originally built in the early 1960s. Part rod, part custom, it made its debut at the 1961 National Roadster Show where it won the Street Rod Coupe class. In the late 1970s, Ed Roth was commissioned to redo the coupe for a later owner, and he gave it an orange paint job that he dressed up with pinstriping. The car has been driven very little since, and today it is one of the few original surviving examples of Roth's paint and pinstriping.
