Part rod, part custom, it made its debut at the 1961 National Roadster Show where it won the Street Rod Coupe class. In the late 1970s, Ed Roth was commissioned to redo the coupe for a later owner, and he gave it an orange paint job that he dressed up with pinstriping. The car has been driven very little since, and today it is one of the few original surviving examples of Roth's paint and pinstriping.
