Tommy Henderson's 1934 Ford Cabriolet
1934 Ford Cabriolet owned by Tommy Henderson of Coney Road, Toronto, Canada. Tommy was a member of the Roadmates Car Club. He bought the car in 1958, and he built and sold it in less than a year. The body was channeled over a Z'ed frame. It ran motorcycle front fenders, and it was dressed up with 1952 Buick taillights and a sectioned 1950 Ford dash. Powered by a Flathead engine, it ran a ragged cloth top and a flat black paint job.[1]
Sold to Pay for a Trip to Ireland
Tommy sold the car to pay for a trip to Ireland in 1959. "My dad believes the guy he sold it to lived in the East end of Toronto," Tommy's daughter, Suzanne Henderson, told Sondre Kvipt of Kustomrama in 2022.
Where is it Now?
When Tommy returned from Ireland, he looked for the car for the next two years to buy it back with no luck. In 2022, 81 years young, Tommy is still into hot rods, and he would like to know what happened to the '34 and if it's still around. Have you seen it lately? Or have you heard what happened to it? Please get in touch with Kustomrama at mail@kustomrama.com if you have any info to share on the car.
