Robert and Stan Reeser's 1929 Ford
1929 Ford Model A Roadster owned by Robert and Stan Reeser of Glenolden, Pennsylvania. In 1954 Robert and Stan's roadster was shown at the first annual Pennsylvania Autorama. By then the roadster had been fit with a filled 1932 Ford grille shell. The rear fenders were bobbed, and motorcycle type fenders had been installed up front. Power came from a flathead V8 engine, and Lyon 1947 - 1952 Cadillac Sombreros knock offs wrapped up the style. According to the name card the Reeser's had put 2,200 hours and $1,500 hours into the car. Robert's son, Paul Edward Reeser, remembers the trophy that Stan and Robert won at the show. It used to sit at Robert's office at Reeser's Auto Body Shop in all trough the 1980s. They were extremely proud of their roadster and the trophy.
