Posies' 1936 Ford
1936 Ford cabriolet owned and restyled by Ken "Posies" Fenical at Posies Rods and Customs. The build was started in 1980, and it received a 1937 LaSalle grille, 1937 DeSoto bumpers front and rear, and 1940 Ford commercial headlights molded into the fenders. 1934 Ford cowl lights were used as directional signals. The tail light stantions were extended and the continental kit was lowered with a hand formed pan. It was fit with a removable padded top and a 1940 Ford dashboard. The build was completed in 1981, featuring a yellow paint job and a white interior. The top was also white. Posies' 36 became known as the "Smoooth."[1]
The Mandarin Maroon Version
In 2013 current owner Artie completed a restoration of the car. The restored version was painted Mandarin Maroon with a black top and a maroon leather interior. It made its debut at the 2013 Goodguys Spring Nationals in Scottsdale, Arizona.[1]
