Paul Hatton's 1959 Chevrolet
1959 Chevrolet Impala owned and restyled by custom painter and pinstriper Paul Hatton. Paul gave the car a flame and scallop paint job in 1970. When he got it, it was a stock car with a factory 4 speed and a 348 V8 engine. The car was wrecked and parked in 1975.
Andy Lodi of Altadena, California bought the car in October of 2014. Andy plans to preserve the car as much as possible. After buying it, he spoke to Paul Hatton Jr., who offered to repaint the front clip back to original. In 1970, Paul Jr. helped his dad paint it.
