Gary Overby
Gary Overby of Tacoma, Washington was a member of the Tacoma Drag-Ons car club. Fellow Drag-Ons member and friend Dick Page recalls that Gary had a can-do attitude, and he was not afraid to cut up a good car. According to Dick, Gary made his own dropped axle by cutting the ends off and welding them back higher with heavy plate at school.
