Don Ferguson, Sr.

Don bought Paul Sylva's 1927 Ford Model T Roadster from Trip Parr in 1961 or 1962.

Erik Chaputa's 1940 Ford Tudor Sedan of La Verne, California. A survivor custom with deep roots, Chaputa's Ford is believed by many to carry the signature touch of Sam Barris. Featuring a hallmark Barris-style chop with long vent windows and a flowing deck lid, the car was reportedly completed by the mid-1950s and once wore Candy Apple Red paint with red and white tuck-and-roll upholstery. It surfaced in Texas around 1957, where it briefly raced before being parked and forgotten. Don Ferguson Sr. brought it back to California in the 1970s, and it changed hands until Chaputa acquired it in 2024.
