The 0032 1932 Ford Roadster, originally built as the Boydster II, on display at the Petersen Automotive Museum Vault in March 2025. This iconic hot rod won America’s Most Beautiful Roadster in 1996 and again in 2000 after Chip Foose restyled it in black, fulfilling his original vision and helping launch Foose Design. The Little Deuce Coupe after its five-year re-restoration, completed in 2025. The project was initiated by Curt Catallo to make the car more period-accurate, and was guided by Michigan-based hot rod builder Cory Taulbert. The chassis was rebuilt, including un-boxing the frame to return it to its 1961 configuration. Mike Alexander Jr. at Metalcrafters handled body repairs with assistance from Chip Foose. Darryl Hollenbeck at Vintage Color Studio sprayed the blue finish, matched to the original paint applied by Junior Conway at Barris Kustoms in 1960. Chrome was done by Advanced Plating, and Sid Chavers recreated the white vinyl button-tufted upholstery. Unpublished Eric Rickman photographs from the original Hot Rod Magazine photo shoot were used as reference throughout the project. The re-restored coupe debuted at the Gathering at the Roc in Oklahoma in the fall of 2025. Photo by Ken Davis.
