Babe Ouse was a member of the Albata car club.
SCTA Treasurer
In 1939 Babe took Lowell Lewis place as a treasurer for SCTA, while Lowell was away.[1]
Flathead B Modified
According to the "Club Comments" section in S.C.T.A Racing News March 15, 1939, Babe had his flathead B modified almost completed.[1]
The California Roadster Association
The California Roadster Association was founded by Babe in his garage in 1945. CRA was the first Hot Rod racing organization on the West Coast after the war. Babe wanted to create an organization that worked for building a race track at Gardena and thereby keeping speed happy boys of the streets. The main consideration of the organization has always been the safety of the drivers.
