Albert Seeno's 1963 Pontiac Grand Prix, featuring custom bodywork by Winfield's Custom Shop, was one of the first hydraulic lifted cars in Northern California. The car, equipped with hydraulics installed by Bear from Bellflower, showcased the growing influence of the hydraulic lift trend beyond Southern California. This hydraulic iteration of the Grand Prix was displayed at the 1963 Grand National Roadster Show in February, highlighting its sleek design and cutting-edge customization. Seeno's Grand Prix became a significant example of the early adoption of hydraulic systems in Northern California, paving the way for future lowriders in the region.[1] Photo by Bud Lang, from The Petersen Archive.
