Vern Hinderer's 1941 Ford
1941 Ford Convertible owned and restyled by Vern Hinderer. The windshield was chopped and the car was fit with a white padded top. The body was de-chromed and shaved for door handles. It was powered by a 3/8 X 3/8 Mercury engine, it ran 105 mph at local drags. He sold it to Bob Atol somewhere around the mid fifties. Bob drove around with it for four years until he sold it to Rod Stavers for $150.[2]
