U.S. Speed Sport
U.S. Speed Sport fabricated fiberglass Ford Model T bodies. The U.S. Speed Sport body was unique because it was a roadster pickup. The body was one piece with the bed molded to it. It also featured a molded in dash that was patterned after the design of Tommy Ivo's T. Only the pickup tailgate was a separate piece. With mostly one of a kind, steel bodied T bucket cars being built, the time was ripe for a car with a glass bodied, cleanly built chassis. And the glass T bodied car phenomenon took off.[1]
