Tony Cardoza's 1948 Chevrolet

1948 Chevrolet four-door owned by Tony Cardoza of Pacific Grove, California. Tony's Chevrolet was nosed decked and shaved for handles. Lake pipes were added to give it a lower appearance. The bumpers were removed and the rear license plate guard was molded to the body. 1950 Buick taillights were frenched to the molded-in rear fenders. The front fenders were molded-in and the hood was peaked. Three Chrysler Windsor grille bars were inserted in the reshaped grille shell. The headlights were frenched and slightly tunneled. Once the bodywork was complete, the car was covered with thirty layers of Candy Apple red paint.[2]
