1940 Ford Convertible owned and restyled by Ted Maedel of Ohio. Ted squared off the rear end by cutting it up and grafted on a stock deck lid. The door handles were removed, and a deschromed 1936 Ford spare wheel cover was mounted. The stock grille was kept, however, it featured outside louvres, molded smooth. The rear fenders were rounded at the bottom front. A set of dog-housed fins were made and fit with 1949 Pontiac taillights. Skirts were added and molded to the fenders. Bumpers were 1949 Plymouth units.[1]
