Robert Ludwig's 1951 Ford
1951 Ford owned by Robert Ludwig of Vernon, Connecticut. In 1957 two photos of Robert's Ford appeared in Motor Life May 1957. This version featured Dodge fenders that had been grafted on to the rear of the car. The car was also fit with a Dodge rear bumper and a continental kit. Up front, the car ran a hand-crafted floating bar grille, smoothed hood and hooded headlights that blended nicely into 1956 Chevrolet side trim. The side trim was used to divide a two-tone paint job.[1]
