Pelle Widholm T-23 bucket
Pelles traditionally built T-23 with a Chevy 283 engine.
He raced it on the strip on the "First Go" at Anderstorp 1968. Probably the car was never registered or approved for the street.
Around 1973 the Hot Rod was up to sale by Pelle together with the 1931 Roadster built by Bengt Wennergren, Bengt Wennergren's 1931 Ford.
Calle Weman and Rogge Carlsson were both interested and showed up at Pelle. The deal ended with Calle Weman as new owner of the T-bucket and
Rogge bought The 1931 Ford Roadster. [1]
Calle drove the car a lot and brought it over to Los Angeles in USA as he moved there in early 1980s.
One night the car was lost, stolen and couldn't be found anywhere. Calle set up posters around town asking for public help finding the car. A reward sum was set.
Finally, a young black boy nervously called Calle on the phone and could point to a dark alley where the car stood under a tarpaulin. He got the reward (lots of money
for a poor boy and family) and Calle got the car back!
The car was later shipped back to Sweden. It is now 2020 owned by Peder Haraldsson in Örebro.
