Modesto Throttlers
The Throttlers have been around since 1949 and was one of two car clubs in Modesto at the time with the other being the Modesto Century Toppers. The Throttlers are the third oldest car club in California with at one time over 100 members that reached as far as Stockton and Lodi. The Throttlers are one of the few clubs with one of its original members still active in the club. The Throttlers are a non-profit organization that have raised over $20 thousand dollars for the Faith Home Teen Ranch for Boys.[1]
