Leroy French
Leroy French of San Francisco, California was a member of the San Francisco Shifters car club. His father owned a Plymouth and Chrysler dealership in the San Francisco bay area, and gave Leroy a 1949 Plymouth that he could restyle. Somewhere around 1956 or 1957, Leroy became a member of the San Rafael Swanx car club. Leroy began diving in 1955 in Northern California. He started developing underwater photgraphy equipment in 1957 and has since become one of the most experienced photographers in the trade.[1]
