A magazine feature on Dell's Mercury.

1951 Mercury restyled by Bernardo Auto Body Customs for Johnny Dell of Connecticut. The Bernardo Brothers reduced the height of the car by lowering the suspension 5 inches up front and 7 in the rear. The top was then chopped 5 1/4 inches at the windshield and 8 3/4 inches at the rear. A very radical chop job. The front end was restyled to accept canted quad Lincoln headlights and a molded grille shell.
