John Vesco was a custom car builder from San Diego, California. According to Chuck Edwall, Vesco did several customs out of his San Diego bodu shop. "He mentored his sons in land speed racing and were and are record holders in land speed racing," Chuck told Sondre Kvipt of Kustomrama in 2019. "His sons Don and Rick along with Rob North built a Bonneville streamliner that holds the current wheel driven land speed record at 503.332 mph set in 2018."[1]
