John Gomez' 1957 Chevrolet
1957 Chevrolet restyled by Joe Bailon of Bailon Customs for John Gomez of San Leandro, California.
In January of 1962, John's Chevrolet was shown at the 7th San Mateo Custom, Rod & Sports Car Show. According to the souvenir program from the show, this version featured a Metalflake candy green paint, bumpers from Cadillac, seats from Corvair, taillights from Cadillac, dual headlights and Magnesium wheels.
Later on, John had Gene Winfield of Winfield's Custom Shop paint the car pearl yellow and candy gold with candy green fades.
