07.04.2022 - Rod Powell's 1953 Buick Custom. Originally built around 1982. Chopped 4 inches. 1978 Chevrolet Camaro sub-frame with 2" dropped spindles and disc brakes. 350 Chevy crate motor with 700 R4 Sanderson Headers, stainless exhaust, Air Bags, 1955 Cadillac ElDorado 15" Sabre wheels and much more. The car is in a good and running condition. Same owner for 15+ years. Garage kept. Located in Palm Desert, California the Buick was sold for US $30,000.
10.01.2020 - 1953 Buick 2 Door Hardtop. Car is complete with ALL stainless, bumpers, grille, and trim. Solid dry Texas body with no rust other than light surface rust. Floors, trunk, and rockers are excellent. No body damage or previous collision repairs. Appears to have what is left of original paint. Car has no engine or transmission and is mounted on a 1972 Chevelle chassis. All work was done by a professional rod shop. Front disc brake set up included. Flat glass is broken as is the windshield. Replacement windshield packed in a box. Backglass is near mint. Seat frames are there as well as un-cut dash. Clear title. Car is located in Austin, Texas. Additional photos are available. 05.15.2020 - James Hetfield's 1953 Buick Convertible - "Ice Cube." Mild Buick custom originally owned by Metallica front man James Hetfield. Modifications include frenched 1956 Packard taillights and airbag suspension. In May of 2020 the car was advertised for sale on Craigslist.
