The 1969 edition of the Hot Rod Show in Marmorhallarna was held between Feb 8 and Feb 16. By 1969, the Swedish hot rod and custom scene was evolving fast. The February Hot Rod Show in Stockholm that year was combined with a new U.S. car exhibition and featured a strong commercial presence, which meant the number of traditional rods and customs was somewhat lower than in previous years.
