Gil Ayala's 1942 Ford
1942 Ford Coupe owned and restyled by Gil Ayala.
In 1959 Gil sold the car to his friend Memo Ortega. Gil sold the car to Memo on one condition, and that was that he should finish the job he had started. Gil had then started to put dull headlights on the front fenders. Memo went through the car and re-worked it. When Memo got the car, the pink slip said it was a 1946 Ford, and not a 1942 Ford. Memo had the car for a few years before he sold it.[2]
