Sometime after the 1957 Long Beach Renegades Car Club Renecade the truck was repainted a deep metallic red. "A very popular color at the time, from a 56 Buick, it was called Tahitian Red," Mike Clines told Sondre Kvipt of Kustomrama in December of 2020. After the car had been painted, Mike scalloped the truck in gold and outlined it in white.[1]
