Gary Simpson's 1958 Buick
1958 Buick Special hardtop owned by Cut Outs of Long Beach member Gary Simpson. Simpson's Buick was mildly customized, and it featured portholes from a 1956 Buick that were neatly sunken in a row on the top surface of the front fenders. According to Rod & Custom November 1958 the highlight of the car was the unique scallop paint job and pinstriping by Mike Clines. The top featured single-tone paint in wide parallel stripes.[1]
