Gardermoen Racet 1947

The first Gardermoen Racet was held at Gardermobanen Septermber 28, 1947. It was organized by Norsk Motor-Klubb, department Romerike.

Gardermo Racet 2011

Gardermo Racet 2011 was held as a memorial race to the original Gardermoen Race held between 1947 and 1950. The race was arranged by Norsk Veteranvogn Klubb, and it took place May 21, 2011 at Gardermoen Raceway. There were originally plans for an annual race, but no race was actually held in 2012. Old race cars and motorcycles competed in the race, and there was a special focus towards old Nordic Type Racers, built in Scandinavia in the 1930s - 1950s.
