Anders Nordin from Hudddinge south of Stockholm, Sweden is one of Swedens most innovative builders.
This creation came from a friendship with Anders Lake who lived close by and they both build wild price-winning motorcycles.
Anders Lake died 1975 tragically. Anders Nordin bought his TVR from the sterbhouse and began to rebuild the car to handle the grief.

The car is a 1963 TVR Grantura registerred with "Exchanged engine, unkown effect". This opened up for Anders to do an extensive rebuild of the car with inspiration from Anders Lakes early H-D choppers with a fish theme.

The small four-cylinder MGB engine was replaced with an Oldsmobile 215 aluminium V8. Front end from a Vauxhall and gearbox from Jaguar etcetera ...

Anders estimates there are parts from 16 different car models.

He needed a scoop on the hood but nothing on the market didn't fit. So Anders moulded a vulcan in plastic with the island Surtsey as model!
The design is inspired by Icelandish mythology and he named the car "Drynur" which means "Rumble" in Iceland.

The car was painted in all rainbow colors by Ingemar Becker.

It took Anders over 10,000 hours to build the car over an eight year period. It was first displayed at Hot Rod Show 1975 Marmorhallarna including a fantastic showcase in the same rainbow theme as the car.

Anders still owns the car which is fully driveable. He plan to get it approved for the street some day ...
