Known as "Disturbed," Dave got the coupe as eighth-grade graduation present from his brother Jay. "Never was a 14-year-old boy so excited to get a pile of rust, but I saw the beauty and potential in that early steel," Dave told Sondre Kvipt of Kustomrama in January of 2022. "My brother Darrel and I resurrected the rusted body by adding multiple custom touches. Such as a wedge chop top, a cowl vent, radius cowl corners, 55 Chevy taillights, and a legacy sliding ragtop, just to name a few." Photo courtesy of Darrel Panfil.

1930 Ford Model A Coupe owned and built by Dave Panfil of Lombard, Illinois. Such as a wedge chop top, a cowl vent, radius cowl corners, 55 Chevy taillights, and a legacy sliding ragtop, just to name a few." The engine is a 401 Buick Nailhead with six Holley 94 carbs. "Shifting duties are from a Superturbine 400 with a 67 Mustang 8” follows up the rear in a custom home built chassis. A super bell 4” drop axle on a super slider spring rides up front. Running ET Spokes up front with Astro Supremes wrapped in 10” Firestone whitewall cheater slicks. Darrel and I handled all the duties of smoothing out the body, while Glenn is responsible for laying down the House of Kolor Trublue pearl. The interior is Blue Zodiac and Pearl White vinyl with plastic school chairs for seats done by Mapes Upholstery. I never could have built this childhood dream without the support of my wife April and all the help from my son Cody and brothers Glenn and Darrel." Dave started the build in 2013, and he completed it in 2016.[1]
