This 1948 Plymouth Convertible was Dave's first car. He bought it when he was 11 and started customizing it. He never finished it.
After restyling the Plymouth, Dave bought a 1947 Ford Sedan that he built a mild custom out of. "Never got it painted. The first car I drove at 16."
Dave restyled this 1948 Ford Coupe when he was 17.

When Dave was 20, he built a 1958 Pontiac which was picked one of the 10 Best Kustoms of 1963 by Car Craft Magazine.
Dave Crook's 1970 Pontiac Firebird is a radical custom designed by Harry Bradley.
Dave Crook's 1947 Ford. Known as "Job One," Dave's 47 Convertible showcases the work of legendary GM stylist and designer Harry Bradley and builder Dave Crook.

Dave Crook of Buffalo, New York. "I've been into kustom cars since I was 10 yrs old," Dave told Sondre Kvipt of Kustomrama in 2021. "Bought my first car at 11 yrs old, 48 Plymouth convert and started to kustomize it, never finished it." Dave then bought a 47 Ford that he made a mild custom out of. "Never got it painted. The first car I drove at 16." Dave's next build was 48 Ford Coupe that he made a radical custom out of it, "never got that one painted either." When he was 20, Dave built a 1958 Pontiac which was picked one of the 10 Best Kustoms of 1963 by Car Craft Magazine.[1]
