Cody Walls' 1932 Ford 3-Window Coupe - The Ardun Killer Coupe
1932 Ford 3-Window Coupe owned and built by Cody Walls of Dover, Delaware. Cody runs the Traditional Metalcraft shop where the car was built. Named "The Ardun Killer Coupe," it is a traditionally styled hot rod built to reflect the early era of show rods from 1959 to 1963. Walls spent a decade collecting parts and meticulously crafting the car with the goal of creating something unique while staying true to East Coast styling traditions.[1]
Unlike the typical V8-powered hot rods of its time, the Ardun Killer Coupe features an inline-six engine, emphasizing a distinctive yet period-correct approach to customization. Walls envisioned the build as a showcase of early show rod influences before the era transitioned into more extravagant designs. The coupe serves as both a tribute to hot rodding history and a statement on the possibilities of building outside mainstream norms.[1]
The build made its debut at the 2025 Grand National Roadster Show in January of 2025.
