Bonaguro Special
The Bonaguro Special is a handcrafted automobile built by John Bonaguro of Chicago, Illinois. Named after its builder, the car was constructed over the period of 1957 - 1963. Starting out with the Suspension from a 1950 Studebaker and an Oldsmobile Rocket V8, John handfabricated the body in Fiberglass.
The split rear window, integrated spare tire and custom aluminum bumperettes gives the car an exclusive look. The tailights lenses comes from a 1958 Chevrolet. The Windshield and Cowl are 1959 Dodge, and the seats are 1962 Ford Thunderbird. Everything else on this survivor is hand fabricated.
Magazine Features
In 1964 the car was featured in the Hot Rod Magazine Custom Car Annual.
