Bob Travers' 1950 Ford
1950 Ford Convertible owned by Bob Travers of Oakland, California. Bob's Ford was nosed, decked and shaved for door handles. The front end was modified with a Mercury grille shell, which gave the front a smoother appearance. A 1954 Pontiac grille bar was installed in the smooth opening. The headlights were frenched and louvers were punched in the fender skirts. Dual spotlights and wire wheels were added.[2]
Bill Whetstone of Detroit, Michigan bought the Bob Travers Ford in 1999 and restored it.[3]
