Bob Benn's 1936 Ford
1936 Ford 3 Window Coupe restyled by Donn Lowe of Lowe Kustoms in Oregon City, Oregon for Bob Benn. The build started out as a rusted out 1935 Ford coupe in 1999, but when Donn had completed the build, all the 35 stuff was replaced with 36 metal. The build was completed in 2001, and the result was stunning enough to give Bob's coupe the King of Kustoms award at the 2001 Portland Roadster Show.[1]
Bob was later killed in a car accident. After he died, his widow held onto the car for a while before putting it up for sale. Jim Tepstra of Roselle, Illinois bought the coupe, and he is the current caretaker of the car.[2]
