Anne De Valle's 1942 Ford
1942 Ford Club Coupe built by Barris Kustoms for Anne De Valle. Anne's car was chopped 5,5 inches in front and 7 inches in the rear. Up front the car featured a reworked grille oval fit with a 1950 Oldsmobile grille. A 1950 Oldsmobile bumper was also used in front. Headlights were frenched and the hood got smoothed, extended, louvered and shaved. The deck lid was also shaved, and the stock rear bumper was replaced by a 1947 Buick unit. 1946 Chevrolet taillights were mounted on the bumper.[1] All the fenders were molded to the body, the runningboards were removed. Barris added Dual Appleton spotlights and fender skirts. Dean Jefferies pinstriped the car.
Anne's 1942 Ford is still around, and is currently under full restoration by its current owner Iggy.[2]
