Al Cravero was a Pinstriper and Painter from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was known as "Little Al", and his charges ran from about $20 up in 1958. His "weird" stripes consisted often of both pinstriping and toned effects. Al was also known for doing humoristic decorations. In Rodding and Re-styling January 1958 Al is presented as one of the most up-and-coming pinstriping talents of the east-coast.[1]
