03.29.2022 - Clyde Wooten's 1958 Pontiac Chieftain. Period correct late 1950s custom with many small balanced details. Custom bodywork by Paul Gilbert. Nosed and decked. Shaved door handles. 1960 Oldsmobile grille. Custom paint by Mike Parsons, designed by Eric Black, pinstriped by Paul Comeau. Custom upholstery by Guy's Interior Restorations. Build completed in 2014. Appeared nearly twenty times in various magazines, including a Rodder's Journal featured story. Won Best of Show at all shows it attended in 2014 and 2015. Has mostly been in storage since 2015. Mechanically, the car is clean, functional, and essentially stock. Has recently gone through a mechanical freshen-up. Turn-key and ready to drive show car.
