Åke Johansson from Taberg near Jönköping, Sweden built this very nice T-bucket in the mid 1960s.

The body is a mix of original steel parts from Ford 1926 and fibreglass.
Power from a smallblock Chevy 283 ci from 1960 together with a 3-speed gearbox moves the car ahead, via a rear end from Chevrolet 1956.
The front axle is from Ford 1947 and equipped with discbrakes from Opel Kadett.

The gas tank is from a Bedford truck and the whole body was painted in copper metal flake by Åke himself.
The molded taillights are a specific characteristic attribute.

Åke also made the interior in black naugahyde.

It was shown at the Hot Rod Show 1969 Marmorhallarna and published in Colorod magazine no. 2 1971.

Around 1970 the car was sold to Bo "Gamen" Sandberg who took it to show in England

The car unfortunately never became registered and later got converted into a dragracing car.
It was driven by Hans Ramsten and named "Destroyed by the rules". Later "Digging-T"

Today, the remainings of the car is at Mikael Blomberg who hopefully will restore it back to the streets?
