Wallicks Music City
Wallicks Music City was a famous record store on Lakewood Blvd in Lakewood where cruisers would go to buy records. On some weekends, one of the local DJ's would do his show out of Wallicks, and people would call in and dedicate a song to your date. Henry Contreras remembers that he and his buddies would cruise by and maybe stop in and buy a record, or just cruise the parking lot and back to Bellflower Blvd for some more cruising.[1]
