1953 Ford Victoria owned and restyled by North Tonawanda Piston Jockeys member Tom Essenburg of North Tonawanda, New York. Tom ran a body shop in town until he retired. Built in the mid-1960s, his mildly restyled Ford was nosed, decked, and shaved for door handles. The headlights were tunneled with slanted openings, and the hood featured rounded corners and scoops. Tom modified the whole front end, constructing a front pan and a custom grille opening. Painted Gold, the car was dressed up with a tube grille, chromed and reversed wheels and molded in lakes pipes. Named "Utopia," the car was a show winner in several New York indoor car shows in the mid-1960s.[1]
