The Guy Mabee Special was a Victress S-1 bodied sports car. At Bonneville in August of 1953, Guy Mabee made history with the Guy Mabee Special Making the Victress the fastest sports car body in the world when it set a record of 203 plus mph.[1] When it set the record, the car became the fastest street legal car, and the first non streamliner or bellytanker to go over 200 mph. In 1954 the car returned to the Bonneville Nationals, where it ran an average of 198 plus mph.[2]
