Skokloster encounter
Swedish motor journalist Gunnar Friberg got in 1966 an idea to gather the Baron Rutger von Essen, owner of the Skokloster motor museum,
holding many veteran cars, with Bo "Gamen" Sandberg, then already a legendary Hot Rod and Custom profile.
"Gamen" brought his cars to the beautiful Skokloster castle for exchange of inspiration, thoughts and experience.
There were some test driving of each others cars, much laughs and some friendly taunting.
The event was published in the annual magazine Tekniken Idag 1968. Some unique pictures to preserve with the blend of cars on the grass.
- Gunnar Friberg set the first Swedish Dragracing quartermile record in an unofficial race with the Dragster shown here (built by Broberg and Gustad).
